September 8th, 2006:
The Syd's Eastside Auto Salvage main building paint project is finally over. Syd's Eastside main building is painted a deep red and sports a new sign which includes our web address. We will update the website to reflect the new look when photos become available (currently, the weather is quite overcast).
June 23rd, 2006:
The Syd's Eastside Auto Parts & Rebuilders website now integrates the Hollander Interchange into its online Auto Parts Search. This allows Syd's Eastside to offer more complete search results to its online customers, as the Hollander Interchange allows more relevant searches for auto parts by including cross indexed interchangeable parts from other makes, models and/or years in the search results.
Syd's Eastside Auto Salvage, Inc. is one of the first businesses in the used and recycled auto parts salvage industry to independently offer such complete auto parts searches of it's own inventory, online.
This new functionality is backed by a fully secure and encrypted e-commerce system through Syd's online shopping cart so that anyone may search and purchase most any new or used auto parts in stock directly online.
This accomplishment offers new convenience for our current and future customers and will allow Syd's Eastside to expand its coverage area on a broader, national scale.
June 14th, 2006:
Syd's Eastside Auto parts inventory weights have been updated. Now customers have the opportunity to choose to have select parts shipped directly to them instead of always having to pick them up at the shop.
This will allow our customers more options and flexibility while also enhancing Syd's Eastside Auto Parts online website presence as well as its e-commerce convenience and functionality. Additionally, this also means that Syd's now enjoys a wider and broader coverage area and has expanded its potential customer base.
May 31th, 2006:
Syd's Eastside Auto Parts has switched the color for links from red and maroon over to the more traditional blue link color. This allows Syd's Eastside Auto Salvage, Inc. more flexibility in branding its names and intellectual properties in red without confusing these highlighted brands with links. We hope that Syd's Eastside website visitors and customers will find the site more navigation friendly in this configuration.
May 30th, 2006:
Syd's Eastside Auto Parts makes a few website navigation and layout changes. Some of these changes resulted in a few images or documents which temporarily did not load correctly. We believe these issues have been resolved. Again, we thank you for your patience in our online endeavors.

Syd's Auto Parts starts e-commerce website operations. Thank you for your patience in the past.
April 25th, 2006:
Syd's Auto Parts starts e-commerce website construction at SydsAutoParts.com. Syd's previous online presence is still available at Syd'sEastsideAuto.com and this domain name will be moved to this website as it is completed. Thank you for your patience.
