Instructions for Fitting and Use
1. Remove the tow ball and secure the mounting bracket (A) of Couple-Mate to the ball mount. Check turning radius to ensure proper installation.
2. Secure the tow ball with nut and locking washer. Couple-Mate fits standard 1 inch diameter ball shank. Check that the guide wings (B) will not turn or move under load.
3. Reverse the vehicle to a position close to the trailer coupling (C) and check that the trailer coupling will engage the Couple-Mate guide wings.
   NOTE: Height is important. If trailer coupling is too high it may override Couple-Mate causing damage to the towing vehicle.

5. Upon confirmation of alignments, continue reversing slowly - guide wings will automatically self center trailer coupling directly over tow ball.
6. Secure the trailer to the vehicle, then REMOVE GUIDE WINGS and check that your COUPLER IS PROPERLY CONNECTED to the tow ball. ALWAYS use safety chains. Guide wings can be used as a chock when not in use.
